【速報】VEX IQの日本代表にMilky Wayが選出されました！

2022年2月27日にVEX IQ Japan Nationals 2022（日本代表選考競技大会）が八王子市立宮上小学校の体育館で開催され、DOHSCHOOLより2チームが出場し、ロボット製作やプログラミングの成果を競いました。
競技大会の得点結果と、4人のジャッジによるチームインタビューやエンジニアリングノートブックの評価と併せ、DOHSCHOOLのチーム（670A / Milky Way)が日本代表に選出され、世界大会出場の権利を獲得しました。
また、670B Laurel’sも見事名誉有るJudge Awardを受賞いたしました。
おめでとうございます！
両チームとも競技大会間際まで、何度も何度もロボットを改良し、プログラムを書き直し、チームメイトと作戦を練り直していました。
ロボコンのようなプロジェクトベースの学びは、子どもたちの内発的な意欲やソフトスキルを自然に育ててくれます。

VEX ROBOTICS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

The VEX IQ Japan Nationals 2022 was held at Miyakami Elementary School in Hachioji City on February 27, 2022.
Based on the results of the competition scoring and the evaluation of the team interviews and engineering notebooks by the four judges, the DOHSCHOOL team (670A / Milky Way) was selected to represent Japan and won the right to participate in the world competition.
The 670B Laurel’s also received the Judge Award.

Both teams improve their robots, rewrite their programs, and rethink their strategies with their teammates many times until just before the competition.
Project-based learning such as the robotics competition naturally fosters children’s intrinsic motivation and soft skills.
